History of Inter Med Associates
Inter Med Associates, PC was established in 2000 in Webster by Dr. Ishwara N. Sharma, MD, FACC, board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. In 2001 Dr. Kenneth F. Guarnieri joined the practice, bringing over 15 years of experience in internal medicine. A 2nd office location was added in Oxford, MA at this time.

Inter Med Associates continued to grow and in 2003 consolidated the two office locations and moved to the newly constructed Webster Medical Center in Webster, MA, a 22,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility. This move allowed Inter Med Associates to provide a wider range of quality medical services to better serve the needs of their patients. In 2009 IMA added a new location in Worcester at the newly constructed Eastern Medical Center at 21 Eastern Ave.

Inter Med Associates provides a wide range of medical services: Physicians specializing in primary care, cardiovascular disease and gastroen-terology. IMA also has a licensed nutritionist and weight management physician on staff. Other services include Bone Density, Echo Cardiogram, Nuclear Cardio Imaging, Vascular Ultra Sounds.
