After-hours: If it is an EMERGENCY, please go to the nearest Emergency room for medical care. The ON-CALL physician for Inter Med Associates can be reached by dialing our office number and choosing option "8". This allows our patients to reach us directly and promptly if they have any urgent medical problems.

Appointments

Regular appointments: All patients are expected to see their PCP at least once a year so that we can provide preventative care. If for some reason you are unable to keep any of your appointments, please call us 24 hours ahead of time to avoid a cancellation surcharge. This enables us to serve as many sick patients as possible each day.

Sick Visit/Urgicare: We make every possible effort to schedule your visit with your primary care physician. However, sometimes this may not be possible and we may ask that you see an alternate physician, nurse practitioner or physician's assistant. You will continue to be served by your own physician in subsequent visits.
